Sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) are infections you can get by having sex with someone who has an STD. If you have sex just once with an infected partner, you can become infected whether the sex is genital, oral, or anal. You often will not be able to tell if your partner has an STD, because sometimes there are no visible warning signs. |

| The most common symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases are genital burningitching, and discharge. Whenever symptoms appear that may indicate a sexually transmitted disease, contact your health care provider right away. | ||||||||||||
