when conditions point to communicable diseases.  Each case is individually investigated.  The staff at the Baker County  Health Department is trained to assess, evaluate, and monitor reports of communicable diseases to prevent epidemics.  This helps to control outbreaks of disease, and minimize the threat to individuals, family members , and the entire community.
