| Ms. Kerry Dunlavey joined the Baker County Health Department as Nursing Director in 1991, and accepted the position of Administrator shortly thereafter. Her vision for the health department includes providing comprehensive, individual health care on a wide range of public health, medical, social, and health promotion venues for the citizens of Baker County. | |||||
| During her administration, Ms. Dunlavey has been responsible for obtaining numerous grants promoting child abuse prevention, healthy start for pregnant mothers, dental services, injury prevention, tobacco prevention, chronic disease prevention, diabetes, and HIV/AIDS prevention. Ms. Dunlavey has been a visionary introducing health education, prevention and promotion as essential components in conjunction with cutting edge medical services in meeting rural health needs in the community. | |||||
| Ms. Dunlavey holds a degree in Nursing, a Bachelors of Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, and a Masters of Science in Health Administration from the University of North Florida, Jacksonville. | |||||
